What routine?

by

Still my routine is off.
Well, unless you count the past two days as being the same routine.

Wake up.
See snow.
Call boss.
Wait a long time for the bus.
Take a long bus ride to work.
Work for four hours.
Wait a long time for the bus.
Take along bus ride home.

Today I was wild & crazy and asked the Ex drive me home - since he has studs on his car. He was nice enough to do so, I bought him a grilled stuffed burrito and am now home putzing while Lump does her epi homework and I contemplate cross-stitching. It’s just staring at me … and I should be working hard on it since Kewi’s baby is due in three months and the project is going to take me at least six more months, but it’s so intimidating and overwhelming! Ack! My mental & emotional is suffering from a cross-stitch project - go me.

Speaking of my mental & emotional health, I had to cancel & reschedule my appointment with Scuba Steve today because of the snow. He lives one town North of where I do and I was the only patient that hadn’t called (by 10am) to cancel my 4pm appointment and he wanted to know whether we could reschedule. He would have driven in for me, but the roads are nasty and I’d rather see him in one piece next week than with broken limbs this week. So I shall wait ANOTHER week to see him. It’s a good thing I like him.
