Stress Reliever
I have discovered the best stress reliever - TAKE your test and be DONE with a class you hate! LOL
I’m done with statistics (most likely) for the rest of my life and then I went to my volunteering gig. That ALWAYS makes me feel good … most often it’s better than therapy and drugs combined for me. I am going twice a week to the HIV/AIDS & (women’s) breast cancer resource/outreach group and just doing whatever they give me to do. Normally it’s filing and clean up, and on Thursday nights it’s “Nutrition Night” where we feed the community a really healthy meal and then give a short (five or so minutes) talk about something nutrition-wise. I always enjoy hanging out with the other staff members and the clients we see, and just getting to know the people I am around. Tonight was no different. It is a great stress reliever to know that I’m giving back from everything I’ve taken from the Portland community.
