Good For the Soul

by

Vacations are good things. I am spending my weekend away from my regular home and, instead, spending it with close family friends of mine. I always leave their house feeling utterly refreshed, rejuivinated and ready to tackle another week. It’s been since Thanksgiving since I spent any time here, and even though I’ve only been here for two hours, I already realize how bady I missed hanging out with them. I never feel pressured to do (or not do) anything while here, so I either get heaps & tons done (I always brings many many things to do, just in case) or nothing at all. We’ll see.

Anyway, vacations, I absolutely believe, should be good for your soul. I am of the mind that you shouldn’t plan your “time off” down to the very minute. I think that everyone needs some time to just relax and “be,” even if you think you should be up doing something. Sit down, take a deep breath, look around you, and enjoy the fact that you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do! Read a book, cross-stitch, lay in bed late, watch movies; just cool your heels and relax!!

I’m glad you are getting away. Gwen and Russ are good for you. Plus you come back all happy and relaxed.

I totally agree. Although I also believe you shouldn’t post while on vacation!
