Goal Setting
So, now onto setting short-term goals for those long-term goals I wrote about yesterday! Let’s see where we can get with these! (Anyone else want to set up some goals like this with me!?!?)
I said that I wanted to start running again; so I must set a long-term goal to get me to start running. That long-term goal is to run in a public event before the end of the year.
Short Term Goals
- find a public event to run in
- begin saving money for the entry fee for the public running event
- read about starting a walk-to-run training schedule
- create my own walk-to-run training schedule
- follow the walk-to-run training schedule as best as I can
I said that I want to find a second job to add to my current one. The long term goal in that is to find an additional job to supplement my income.
Short Term Goals
- attend the interview I have next Monday with The Oregon Gymnastics Academy and kick ass at it (I’ve already read everything on their website and talked to my current bosses about the fact that I’m looking for another job)
- continue checking CraigsList’s part-time job listings
- send out two resumes (if possible) and cover letters a day
- interview well at all interviews I schedule
- be open & honest about the fact that I have a full-time job but am ADDING to it, not replacing it
