101 Things About Me, VIII

by

71. I would rather have the TV on as background noise than music. Don’t get me wrong, I love music, but there is something about TV that has me drawn in. It’s probably full of MSG or something of the like, but I am a sucker for television.

72. My favorite channels, and I have no shame admitting this, are Fox’s Reality network (all “reality all the time) and the Game Show Network. I don’t get either of these channels anymore and it’s probably best for my health, and behind-size that I don’t.

73. I have pretty poor eyesight. I have run out of my contacts so I have been wearing my glasses lately instead. I would much rather wear my contacts but I’ve been too lazy to actually order more contacts.

74. My eyesight went downhill after starting college due to the constant switch between taking notes (close up viewing) and staring at a power point presentation (far away viewing). When I first started wearing corrective lenses it was only in class when I needed to see far away. Pretty soon I realized that I couldn’t read street signs when I was driving so I figured that it was time to start wearing my glasses full-time.

75. Now it’s illegal for me to drive without my contacts in or my glasses on.

76. I need a haircut.

77. I secretly laugh inside when I see women wearing white pants. I don’t understand the white pants fad. I laugh out loud, but quietly, when I see men wearing white pants – that is just too funny not to laugh!

78. My favorite soup is bean & ham – especially when my Grampa K makes it. He taught me to make his soup, and I can handle it, but it never tastes as good as when he makes it. It will never taste as good as Gramp’s recipe.

79. My favorite color is blue. I have blue eyes and when I wear blue, my eyes pop more than they do in any other color. When I’m having a down day, or a bad hair day, I try to remember to put on a blue shirt so that I feel better about how I look!
